December 14 – In a Scientific American article on the impact of the pandemic on children’s mental health, SAFEchild’s Ginger Espino discusses how our Circle of Security Parenting program helps parents strengthen the parent-child bond and create a safe, nurturing home environment. July 28 – Anderson Automotive Group, a champion-level SAFEchild corporate partner, has supported us since we were established nearly 30 years ago. Company president and CEO Michael Anderson is now carrying the legacy forward. This week, Michael was joined by staff from Fred Anderson Nissan of Raleigh, including general manager John Azzarelli, to present SAFEchild with a generous donation as part of the company’s Drive for a Difference charity program.

June 1 – Our Spring 2021 Be the One fundraising and awareness campaign was a great success. Many thanks to our board, committee and staff members, as well as supporters, whose committed efforts enabled us to surpass our goal and raise over $127,000!
