Cocktail attire is perfect for the evening. Our theme this year is Tuscan Garden Attire. Think classic cocktail style with a romantic garden feel, as if you are attending an evening celebration in the Italian countryside.

Our VIP Champagne Reception can only be attended by guests who purchase a Gala ticket. Tickets are limited, with only 100 available. The VIP reception begins at 6 pm.

• If you have completed registration ( including registering your credit card) in advance (via the text you received/will receive) the check-in progress will be quick. You will scan your QR code you received upon your check-in completion, grab your nametag & table assignment, and head inside for the cocktail hour.
• If you have not completed registration in advance, you will complete that upon arrival, then grab your nametag & table assignment and head inside for the cocktail hour.
• This year, your bidder numbers will be placed in advance on your assigned table.

Please note this is a 21+ event.

About registering a credit card:
• All guests must register a credit card to participate in the event.
• If you prefer to pay via check/ACH/stock, etc. we still need you to register your credit card as a guarantee. You must let us know by the end of event if you’d prefer that we not run event night purchases/donations on your card.

You may bid in increments or set a max bid and the platform will bid for you up to that amount. The next bidder must bid higher than you to be successful.

A pre-registered credit card is required to begin bidding. If you would like to complete payment through another method (i.e.check/ach/stock) please contact eclay@safechildnc.org or let us know immediately after the event, the night of. Credit cards will be processed following the event. We accept all major credit cards.

SAFEchild will communicate with all winning bidders after the auction closes regarding auction item pick-up.

Auction Item and Sales Information

All sales are final; there will be no exchanges or refunds.

SAFEchild has made every attempt to catalog and describe the property correctly, but all property is sold “as is.” No statements contained in the catalog or made verbally at the sale or elsewhere shall be deemed a warranty, representation or assumption of liability.

Items depicted in the slide presentation are for illustrative purposes only.

SAFEchild reserves the right to remove any items from sale.

Certificates and Vouchers

For non-tangible items, you will receive an envelope which will contain a voucher and certificate(s) for your item(s) or a voucher providing you with directions on how to collect your certificate(s).

Please carefully check your envelope which will contain the voucher and/or certificates in the package you “won.” Pay specific attention to all conditions, restrictions, and expiration dates on items and services.

Unless otherwise stated, restaurant certificates exclude alcohol, tax, and gratuity, and may have certain date restrictions.

Expiration Dates and Scheduling

Except where otherwise noted by the donor, services, tickets and certificate items are subject to mutually agreed upon times and dates.

All arrangements for trips, parties, and similar events must be made in advance, unless otherwise stated on the certificate.

Travel Rules and Restrictions

SAFEchild assumes no responsibility for travel arrangements, unless otherwise noted. No refunds will be made for cancelled tickets and accommodations. All arrangements and coordination of items (hotel, caterer, entertainment, etc.) must be made by the item’s buyer and only with the contact person designated on the donation certificate or documentation. We appreciate your strict observance of these restrictions, as future donations depend on it.

All hotel/resort reservations are based on availability unless the certificate states a specific date.

Travel awards may not be sold or transferred and are not redeemable for cash.

Alcohol cannot be shipped. Wines and spirits may be sold and delivered only to persons who are at least 21 years old. Local pick-up only.

NOTE: for tax purposes in regard to auction purchases, all contributions in excess of the fair market value of the item are tax deductible as a gift to a charitable organization. SAFEchild encourages all attendees, donors, and their contributors to consult the appropriate IRS Revenue Ruling 67-246 and their tax consultant.
